Meet the Owners

From Naples to Greene Street.

Menspire New York is owned and run by Luca Perillo and Carlo Polito. Both born and raised in Naples, they left Italy for London as young men and have cut their way across Europe and America ever since. In the summer of 2026 they opened the group's first salon in the United States, on Greene Street in SoHo, to build something distinctive in the most competitive city in the world. You'll find them behind the chair most days.

Luca Perillo

Menspire International Educator

Born and raised in Naples, Luca started cutting hair at 16. He built his reputation over years behind the chair in London, across Europe and in the United States.

In 2020 he opened Menspire Napoli, then became Manager for Italy at the Menspire Academy, where he trains stylists from all over the world as one of Menspire's International Educators. In 2026 he brought that standard to New York, opening Menspire in the heart of SoHo alongside his business partner, Carlo.

Carlo was also born and raised in Naples, and spent four years learning his craft there before moving to London at 18 with Luca. From there his work took him to Scotland, Spain, Miami and New York, learning how men's hair is done, and how a salon is run, in very different markets.

Those years shaped how he works today: technical precision, a sharp read of what each client wants, and an owner's head for the business. New York was a deliberate choice for his next chapter, the place to build something that stands apart.
